Some very pleasing meteor scatter catches overnight.
The Lithuanians were a nice surprise, especially the Anyksciai transmitter on 104.4 as this is the frequency of a strong BBC Radio Norfolk. I didn't know there was anything on 104.4 at the beginning but I could hear the same operatic music as the Bubiai transmitter on 103.4 which had full RDS. I was tuned to 104.5 at the time but no carrier was visible. I reduced the S2 bandwidth to around 50 kHz and immediately heard the classical music on both edges of Norfolk 104.4. Luckily, the Anyksciai transmitter was wider than BBC Radio Norfolk so I could get in either side. This demonstrates the selective ability of the S2 very nicely.
I have omitted lots of the regular transmitters this time to avoid repetition. I am still slightly in shock of the capability of the S2 and once again find myself reporting a record number of personal meteor scatter firsts, 39 no less!
